We have used K9 Advantix on Mojo for awhile because it is for fleas, ticks AND misquitoes. I just bought some Frontline Plus to see if I like it better. We have never had a problem w/ fleas, but we have lots of ticks in the warmer weather.

I check Mojo every time he comes in from outside. I can feel most ticks just by rubbing/massaging his skin through his hair. BUT I have also taking the time to comb and seperate his hair to look too - I HATE TICKS!! YUCK!

We use Interceptor for heartworms - well, it actually takes care of all worms from what my vet says. It is a once a month pill.
