I think the ANTI-PET comment made is very suspicious and will cause a knee-jerk response in many readers. Don't believe the hype; read the law. Granted, I did not study every page, but everything I did read was excellent. What part of the law didn't you like?

The Anit-Pet comment was with a question mark. I got the mark from an article and wanted to know why. Many(not all) of the show people and many (not all) members of all-breed dog clubs are commenting negative about it. I think it is just certain parts of the ordiance that they have a problem with and manly government resticting people's rights. I have heard - if they do this now - what is next? Will the govenment pass laws next to how many cars you can own and if you own more than two you have to pay a fine or if it is older than a certain year - you must pay to own an older car? Hummmm. From what I got out of it - if your pet is not spayed or neutered you have to pay a license and pay if you own more than 3 dogs including puppies. When you et a certain lisence from them you have to give them a lot of information for the paperwork to be completed and approved. So say you own a male and female (2 dogs within the law) but you have a litter (now you are outside what the law allows) - you have to pay the city and then if you buy a pup unspayed or neutered you have to pay too. Do I have this part wrong?
I guess what it boils down to - is we as Americans - are we loosing our rights? If if we choose to go beyond what they want - you have to pay. I guess it is all about money.
I am all for the rid of puppymills! Believe me! But it seems that no matter what laws the govenment approve - somehow it does also affect the pet owner and the reputable breeder too. So what to do? I am also for spaying and neuter of all pets, but like one YT member mentioned - it is her right. If these towns keep getting away with passing these laws - pretty soon all towns will have this law and then what? No dogs in the year 2020? Hummm!
