My vet says that normally they'll swallow them, so you would never see them
Sometimes the teeth can be pretty stubborn. Make sure he has lots of stuff for chewing, toys, bully sticks, etc. NO rawhides or greenies, those are bad bad bad.
There are low-cost spay/neuter clinics in some areas, check around. I think the website is friendsofanimals.org or something like that. Then you wouldn't have to wait as long
