Picked Hoku up today and she did so well on the long drive home. Once we got home she used the pee pad and ate and played and was a little doll.
Then we took her to the vet. She says she has a grade 4-5 heart murmur and needs an echocardiogram to see how bad it really is. I am so crushed! The breeder says she'll do whatever I want so we've decided that she will pay for the echocardiogram and if the murmur is really bad that I will return Hoku and wait for another female puppy out of a future litter.
I am so torn, I don't know that I can give her up
