I took the cone off as soon as I got home with Max. I bought the onesies, but never needed them because he stopped licking when I told him to and he wasn't a problem with it. Someone had posted that putting the snaps on the onesie on their backs (put the onesie on backwards) would prevent irritation. I also found something made of very soft cotton that you put on newborn babies before their umbilical cord falls off. It cost 99 cents and tied in the back. I never needed it, but I think it would have been perfect.

Good luck with your little boy. Max is fine after just 3 weeks. He's a little tired, but I've been lazy so it may have nothing to do with the neutering and more to do with a lack of exercise.
