oh...I feel your pain. even my cocker who I have had for 6 years and it has always just been me and her and my daughter...my hubby comes into the picture and suddenly, she favors HIM. I got so hurt at first, because Daisy and I have been through so much. but I think it is because I am the "pack leader" in the house...I am the one who makes the doggie rules and enforces them. He just sits around and gives treats when they go potty. even though our 2 oldest are 6 and 10..they still get treats for going out to potty. heck, Daisy (cocker) even sits outside the bathroom door when he is using the can. blows my mind. anyway...they all favor him. I told him when I got maggie that he is not allowed to be her favorite. that he is to LEAVER HER ALONE!!! hehe. so he is always encouraging maggie to "go see mommy". he only holds her once in a while. so he is trying
but yes, I do understand very well where you are coming from here. This is why I take maggie EVERYWHERE i go...work, store, bank, ANYWHERE. so that she is around me more than him. hehe.
