Mine are both over a year, but recently my little girl had pups, so I switched her to puppy food. They began fighting about one month before she had the babies, so we had to purchase an additional cage. Now with the pups, I keep her food and water in her cage with the puppies, and his food and water in his cage. I put one in and open the other cage, then I put the other in the cage and open the other. If you are not going to have one of them fixed, you might as well come up with some way to seperate them now
