Revolution is not a pill but administered to the back of their necks like Frontline. Yes, it is necessary to have your dog checked for heartworm prior to giving it to them, but my vet only charges $15 for the test, which I have done every 18 months just to be careful. We have had a lot of rain here in so called sunny CA and have had more standing water, so between heartworms and west nile, I want to be extra careful. |
