I amde a cover for mine. I got a large piece of nice fabric. Placed it over the pad, then cut it approx 1/2 inc larger all the way around. I wanted adifferent pattern on the other side so I got some deep pile faux fur and cut the same size as the first.I hemmed one of the short ends of each piece and then sewed the other 3 sides with right sides together making what looked like a big pillow case. One the hemmed ends I put snaps ( you can buy the snaps that you apply with a hammer really cheap) or velcro.
I made quite a few and can a;lternate off for the weather. If you have apiddler you can cover the pad with 2 garbage bags before putting the cover on.
