yorkies tails were first docked to avoid injurys when they were working dogs but as most yorkies are not anymore there is no need to have it done.
its banned in the uk and yorkies can now be shown with tails.
my 13 year old boys have there tails as i bred them myself and wouldnt have them docked and have never had any problems with there tail some say they should be docked incase they get there tail shut in a door but your more likely to step on there foot than shut there tail in the door but you wouldnt cut there feet off.
brandi had her tail docked by someone b4 i got her which was against the law and they cut it to short so now she has the bone sticking out the end
waggy tails at first can look strange but you soon get use to it and come to love em
