We have been lucky with vet's. When we moved here several years ago we went to the vet 2 blocks from the house and after talking to her for Sunnie's appointment we decided not to go back. We interviewed several vets before settling on one 20 min from here. A vet is a good one if I "trust" them, if they answer all of my questions & if they use a good dose of common sense.
Most vet's and groomers do trim nails. I do my own . I have trained my 3 to lay on their backs on the couch and be still while I trim away. Maggie was 2 when she came and it didn't take her long to learn it.
