No, I don't think I will tape her ears up because she is only a little over 11 weeks old, and I have nticed that every week, her ears are perking up more & more, so I am thinking that they will stand on their own in a month or so. The face is probably the last place she'll clear...sometimes up to a year....
But, I did notice the hair on her ears is quite heavy....you might want to shave them on both sides to get the weight off. My yorkies don't leave my house until their ears are up, I usually start taping at 8 weeks, if they aren't up by then. When they do go to their forever homes, I inform their new parents that their ears my go down again, when they begin teething again and taping may be needed again.

The one way to tell if your yorkie is silk or soft coated....take a look at her feet does she have an abundance of coat on them, do the look like bedroom slippers.
