Hi Tracey,

I am not sure of where you live or whether there would be a Bridal Consignment store there, but we have them here in BC, Canada. Actually in Vancouver, BC. I would believe that your city or a close by Urban center would have such stores. Yes, you also can sell it on e-bay,I would advise that you do model the dress for pictures on the site.My experience with this is similiar to your Mom's. I was told to ask for 50% OF IT'S ORIGINAL COST and shipping afterward. The exception being that you would need to set a reserve amount on the auction so that you at least reach a minimum amt for the sale. At a consignment store they also usually will sell the gown @ 50 % of the original and then take a commision, if it doesn't sell readily then they also start to discount the gown unless you make a request to have it returned if not sold in a specific time frame. Well I have exhausted my pee brain for you... lol
