Unhappy How does my Yorkie behave this way?

Hi all - I am a newbie here and I say a warm 'hi' to all who read this.
My problem is that Cookie, my Yorkie, seems to go to other members of the family than to me. Example:- I can be sitting on my bed or chair and if one of my children come sit next to me, Cookie automatically gets off my lap and curls up on theirs. She also cries or does what I call 'whisper whimpers' in their direction and it is as if I am a visitor, not her 'daddy'. It does upset me somewhat and sometimes annoys me too. I never stop her, I try to keep her interested in me, but her longing gets more intense.
She will lie with or on me if we are alone though and the only 'quality time' she spends with me is play fighting or tug of war with one of her teddy's. In her mind, what or who does she 'see' me as?
