It was a learning process the whole way through. I didn't do any of that I tried blowing air in their face just to get them started I had no idea about whelping. I did however lose one of the males when he was born...(stillborn) so I guess I really didn't lose him he just wasn't able to make it. The other male I lost because he wasn't fully developed from what the vet told me. The shock of getting their tails done was too much for him I think. So of course I'm left with four precious little girls. I would keep them all if I could but the hubby says nope I've got my hands full already in my zoo. Good Luck with your upcoming litter it's a fun but scary experience that's for sure.
