I know!!! Isn't that just GROSS???!!! It really made me think when I read that! YUCK!!!!!
Oh, another tip - use a smaller plate - the foods on your plate should only be the size of your hand. So, I have started using a bigger "saucer" or dessert plate and if my hand is outstretched it covers that plate - perfect size! I haven't had any problems doing that, so far!
I have also starting eating healthy snacks and what they call "mini-meals" throughout the day. I have never been a "snacker" until the holiday season w/ all the baked goods, etc. So, I am now in that habit, but it is healthy stuff now......and I have noticed, that makes me eat less at meals, when I would normally want seconds or still be hungry.
