"HI, he is absolutely adorable! How much is the adoption fee? And why are you selling him?? I have a yorkie around his age already, but would love a companion for him : )"
And this is the reply:
"We rescue dogs through an independent rescue called Pixie's Pals and so he came from a shelter with the intent to re-home. He is such an angel that I would definitely keep him if we had room! His adoption fee is $250 and you will never find a sweeter happier puppy. I foster a lot of little ones but he is really a special one. Let me know if you would like to meet him! "
I tried googling Pixie Pal's but I can't find any information on them. And 250 seems to be to good to be true, even for adoption fees, just because it's a yorkshire terrier in california... Do shelters even let people foster dogs with the intent to re-home... Advice anyone?? Thanks!!

Yes, they do. Scammers aren't willing to meet you. Go for it.
