Does anyone know how I get to the list of Breeders who are NOT in good standing with the AKC? I've seen it somewhere, but I can't remember where. I bought a yorkie from a breeder here. When I originally talked to her she told me that she was AKC registered. After I bought her, she sent me CKC paperwork. When I asked her about it, she said she is AKC registered, but she no longer deals with AKC. She says that it's because the AKC is all about the money and blah blah blah. Well, now i'm hearing that she is no longer in good standing with the AKC because her DNA stuff wasn't matching up. I called AKC, but they won't tell me if she's in good standing or not! The guy told me that they don't endorse breeding. What kind of craziness is that??? I thought that's what AKC was all about. If they don't endorse breeding, then why are they in business???? Makes NO sense!
Whew...sorry to make this so long, but I'm a little upset right now. If anyone knows how I can find out, please let me know.
