First I wanted to say I'm sorry for your lose and also wanted to Welcome you to YT.
I got my boy first and then 1 month later got my girl. It was much easier because once I got my girl Timmy pretty much potty trained her. She was trained to go on pads in a matter of 2 weeks and has been accident free since. If you really want to get 2 I say go for it. My babies are so attached to eachother. If one happens to step outside with my kids the other will run around the house and cry the entire time until the one comes back in and they start kissing eachother
Yes it was a little harder than having one but I wouldn't have had it any other way.
