I now have an Andis Clipper too -- it came with the #10 blade, what other blades will I need for Yorkie grooming? I am going to let them grow for now but will go down to a puppy cut for summer. Maybe 4FC? It leaves hair 3/8 inch. Can you just get the same effect by using the comb attachments? That is what I did before with my "cheapy" clippers that only had the one attached blade. But they must have all those different blades for a reason.
So I have the Wahl Peanut for ears and pads and the Andis clipper for body hair. Which do you use on face? Or should I use scissors? What scissors do you all recommend? The prices are scaring me -- but I know it makes a difference.
I am already feeling sorry for my two pups with all of the trial and error they have to face. But I really want to do them myself. |
