As long as the bag is "airline approved" it doens't have to be a Sherpa brand. It's just a brand name, perhaps they were giving you an example of what's allowed. We do have a Sherpa bag for flying, the smallest one, (I guess we'd need two now
!) and it was huge for Starr (she was 5 lbs). It's kind of nice for them to have a little extra room.
