I am flying in two weeks on United Airlines. When I called to make the reservation for the pup, they told me I need a Sherpa Bag. Even the smallest Sherpa Bag will be HUGE for this baby. I know that Sherpa advertises as being "Airline Approved", but does it really matter? I know the bag cannot exceed 9" in height - but I'd like a bag that I feel will be more comfortable.

Has anyone used a different bag for flying and did the airline's comment on the type of bag you had??
