I am saddened to hear of your tremendous loss.We are just new Yorkie Parents but not new dog owners. We have always been mindful when out with our dogs to make sure we are incontrol and aware of others dogs, kids, adults who may not be dog savvy or fearful etc. I agree with you that if the elderly dog owner had a muzzle on prior it never should have come off! I could not imagine what you are going thru ,after only having our wee Rosie for two week if this were to happen, let alone 7 years . Please know that we are here to talk to , vent and greave.
