My girls are 5 months and 8 months. They get fed at 7 am and 7pm, 1/3 cup of kibble mixed with 1/3 cup of canned, they share those meals. Then they get all the kibbles they can eat all day long. I recently cut out the midday meal because they weren't eating much of it. Before I got Izzy, I had teeny Luna and fed her 4 times daily. She had had a severe hypoglycemic episode, requiring hospitalization, when I first got her, so 4 times a day was nothing compared to the every 2 hours that we started with

When these babies are young and little, it's good to feed them frequently to avoid hypoglycemic episodes. The only time I wouldn't free feed toy dogs is if they were overweight (can't feel their ribs).

As long as he's playing, pooping, and happy, you're doing the right things for him
