Wow sorry to hear about that. OMG

something similar almost happened to me and my boyfriend!!! We put in an ad in my local newspaper which also does it online to sell our motorcycle and some guy emailed us saying he was interested in the bike and wasn't in the country, he said he was in London at the time and wanted our bank info so that he could bank wire the money to us and he would have his "representative" come and pick up the bike. That sounded fishy to my boyfriend so he said no he didn't feel confortable to relay that type of info over email and since he would be having his rep pick up the bike why not have his rep bring along a cashier's check with him. Of course the guy never emailed back and my boyfriend did some internet searching and come to find out that it's a scam that people have been doing to get your bank info. When he tried to email the guy again to tell him he had contacted the authorities and yahoo on him(the guy had a yahoo email acct) the guy had already deleted the acct and moved on to prob another unsuspecting victim.
