Hi, I work for a vet and he also prescribes the dramamine for car sickness. It does make them really groggy tho. Another alternative is to give a 1/4 of a ginger cookie (ginger settles the tummy) and you can give it when needed as it works on the upset stomach, you can give it more frequently too.
