I agree with everyone else, if they are hungry they will eat. And as long as he is healthy and isnt losing weight, I wouldnt worry about it.
Izzy will leave his food during the day as well. Im gone 8-9 hours a day. I feed him in the morning then I willl put a second helping in his bowl for the second feeding. Sometimes I will come home and it will be completely gone and other times there will be food in it. I believe he sleeps all day too until I come home...my puppy is a snoozer anyway!
