Yes, Let's Practice in Plano....is the best place.

I show my own dogs. However, if this is your first dog and it is a good finishable dog, I would highly recommend a handler. The reason I say this is that novices, not knowing what they are doing can ruin a dog.

All I can tell you is it takes about 6 months to a year before you really feel comfortable about what you're doing. Learning to anticipate your dogs moves, how to groom a show dog and present it to it's best advantage is a constant learning process and takes time....dog handling is an art, not a science.
