you buy a bottle of the tablets and it has the instructions on there. we give it like a vitamin every morning with breakfast. the instructions say 1 tablet per 10 lbs weight. so a bottle will last a yorkie owner quite a while
we give it daily...all the time. it's not medicine so you are not starting your pup on a medicine that they will need their whole lives, it is like giving them vitamins. and you can stop it any time if you want. we stopped for about a week because we were out and our local pet store was out. and we noticed that rex started shedding again. so we drove to wal-mart and got more. I swear by it. let me know if you try it. I really think you will notice the effects after about a week.
