i actually love the brewers yeast for the dogs skin and coat. I don't know exactly how effective it is for fleas because we have never had to worry about it (knock on wood) but I have heard a lot about the garlic in it being good to ward off fleas. So maybe try the brewers yeast and an occasional clove of garlic as a treat???? I'm no medical expert but it sounds like a good idea
