We have hawks here too. Oh my, that would be too horrible for words if a little Yorkie was taken by a hawk. I think Bo is probably too big. He's around 7 1/2 pounds. I read in an old thread on here once of an owl trying to carry off a Yorkie. Bo loves to play outside and asks to go out all the time. My biggest fear is of him running into the street or a big dog coming into the yard. We don't let him off leash very often for that reason.
