My chi-pom did that for a day or two, and the vet x-rayed him and said he had eaten something metal (a staple). He had it removed, along with a hairball (gross). They used a gastroscope to get it out. Then later he ended up having a shunt, but that's another story...
Hope your Zoe is feeling better. If she eats too fast, maybe you could hand feed the dry kibble one piece at a time? I do this with my dogs sometimes, just because after I've had a snack they want something, and I want them to have something healthy, not the junk I eat! |
