Wow this is very sad. Do you know the breeder well enough to trust them if they say no other dogs of theirs tested positive for parvo. Maybe they arent being truthful so the blame isnt put on them for selling a sick pup? I dont know if I would get another pup from them or go over there in case they did have parvo, you could be bringing it to your house. Maybe to be on the safe side, you should get a puppy that has had all of its shots in case you still have some parvo in your house. I hear that it can hang around for several months. I hope they will refund you the money but alot of breeders will just replace the puppy but if they do it should be comparable to the quality of the dog you origionally purchased. |
