I got this fish toy for my cats where if you pull the tail, the fish will shake and vibrate. My cats were TERRIFIED of it, and I could never get them to play with it.
But the second day we had Stitch, I pulled it out to see what his reaction to it was. He was surprised at first, then curious, then utterly obsessed. It took him less than an hour to figure out how to hold it between his paws and yank the tail with his teeth to get it to shake. I think that was the moment we realized that this was a dog we could love and live with forever. |
