I work for an oral surgeon so this is up my alley. Flossing daily should help with the breath problem. Lots of factors for bad oders in the mouth food left in between teeth is one factor it kind of rots (gross), second reason and if your gums bleed when you floss is gum disease which smells. A Dry mouth can lead to bad breath. Tobacco products can give you bad breath. And don't forget to brush your tongue.
If cavaties are left untreated they can get worse and if left in too long they will have to be removed.
Steph you do all your chewing on your back teeth. If at all possible since you have lost your other molar teeth it is best to keep them.
If you have any more questions for me I will do my best to answer anything I can. I have been in the dental field now for over 10 years. |
