I completely agree with you on this statement. All hell would break loose if ANYONE talked about the larger yorkies because that would be considered "MEAN". I think anyone would defend what they have. If the same people with large yorkies had tiny yorkies, they would defend that size, but because they don't they feel they can "educate" everyone else. I know recently everyone feels like they should speak out about tiny yorkies. Well you know what? If someone wants a teapot yorkie, by all means get yourself a big yorkie, but what size yorkie I buy and why should be no ones concern. If I wanted a dog over 7 lbs, I would have gotten a different breed where the standard was bigger. I don't like breeders using tinies for breeding purposes and charging a bundle, but there is nothing wrong with getting a yorkie from standard parents, and it turning out tiny. They are not prone to any disease or illness that most dogs aren't. Yes they are susceptible to injury but so are kids and no one has stopped having those. If one is not able to devote the time to care for these tiny babies, then a teapot is maybe more appropriate. I for one, knew what I was getting myself into and love my girl to high heavens, and would prefer her over any teapot, saucer, teacup or kettle anyday
P.S. Even with her tiny body, she rules the roost and wrestles with the best of them with no illnesses or serious injuries.
