I'm reading your posts and hoping for the best. My husband stepped on Lucy when she was little. She cried, I cried, and my husband was a wreck until she stopped screaming. She could not walk and fell to the floor, we were ready for the emergency room. Then, she got up and started walking. We now think he just stepped on her leg. She was 1 pound 4 ounces at the time. My husband is so in love with her (as I'm sure your boyfriend is), and she is in love with with him. Now, if she does not have her cat bells on my husband tells me to get them on her ASAP, he is worried he might not know where she. It is so easy to do. It is so hard when they are that little. We had many near misses. My heart goes out to you.
