We used to use Advantage many moons ago. Then I found my Shih Tzu was full of fleas! My daughters dog (who lived with us) was flea free. I complained to the vet.... She said I must have applied it wrong! HUH? Gee such a complicated application process! Anyway we switched to Frontline Plus. That about 8 years ago. That is all I will use now, even the summers when my neighbors roaming, flea ridden dog comes calling we are still good. With 2 dogs and 7 cats I can't have a flea outbreak! We did one year one I was lazy and out of Frontline. Didn't notice the fleas until they were well established. Frontlined everyone, vaccuumed like crazy and no more fleas. Didn't even bomb. For ME it is perfect. |
