Punch Slush

Boil 2 cups sugar and 3 cups water together for 5 minutes.

Add: 1/4 cup lemon juice
1 large frozen orange juice
1 can apricot nectar
1 package frozen strawberries, thawed and pureed.
(I usually add an extra pkg of strawberries, because I like em!)

FREEZE….Scrape into glass and pour 7-Up, ginger-ale or sprite over. Make it as thin or as thick as you like! Mmmmm Mmmmm Goooood! Great to cool you off on a hot summer day!

(I freeze mine in an ice cream pail. It takes quite a while for it to freeze, so if making it for an event, do it a couple days ahead of time. You can leave this in your freezer for months and it stays good. I always have a pail of it in my freezer in the summer. You can also use this in a punch bowl...take it out a few hours before you want to use it so it's not so solid...then put into punch bowl and pour a couple liters of 7-up over it and mix it a bit. You can also add alcohol if desired.)
