we did find out where the rescue was. the thing is it is 4 hours away and my mom can't drive there, so i would have to drive her. which i have no problem doing, except that i am leaving to go home tomorrow ( I have been home at my moms for the holidays).
its very upseting. the good news is that there was another puppy we wanted, that another family got and there was something wrong with their application, so the rescue called us today and we can go get her tomorrow monring before i leave bc she is only 15 min away. its not a yorkie
but i know it will make my mom happy. she is a little shih tzu, 4 months old, potty trained, and about 6 pounds so far. my mom fell in love with her before we even knew about the yorkie, so she isnt too disappointed. i of course, am still very upset bc we dont get to have another yorkie in the family...hehe....i will continue to pray that that little yorkie finds a home
