ok......my mom and I drive down to miami, an hour and a half drive, to see that yorkie. we got there and were the first to put our name on the list. we were thrilled!!!! we went back to see him and played with him, and he was sooo excited to see us. there was this guy there who said he was from a rescue that was trying to look at him too and we told him that we had adopted him, we were just waiting to fill out the papers. we sat for 2 hours in the waiting room to be called and finally when we got up there the lady said THEY GAVE HIM TO THE RESCUE. I am so so sorry, that wasn't right that they did that. Is there anyway you can find out who this was that got him since it was through a rescue and you were first on the list. I do believe I would contact someone there and find out if your mom is still able to get him. So sorry I was so excited first reading your post that your mom might get it and then finding out what happened, was so dissapointed. Prayers that your mom will find the perfect one placed within her arms soon.
