thanks yorkie shadow, it's sad because tiggy is only 10 months old =( but i did forget to mention during the time i visited the vet regarding the ticks; i mentioned that when she walks, she walks funny.

she did an hand examination on her knees and legs and did mention that her right rear leg feels different than her left rears =(

Id ask the vet about that too.luxating patella? is a dislocated knew joint on the front of their hind leg. Toy dogs are prone to this disorder due to their small size. It is actually extremely common in Yorkshire terriers. With age it tends to keep slipping out of its socket. This can occur in yorkies with weak muscles or tendons, as well as yorkies whose kneecap groove is too shallow or narrow.
