I wonder if this Miko is a Yorkie, and if Kami is the owner? I feel terrible that some of us smelled a rat, because if this is a genuine puppy and owner, they're going to need lots of support no matter what the outcome will be
She did state in one of her posts that she was going to get CareCredit, so it's a little funny that she would still be asking for donations. IMHO, if you are going to own pets, there's the chance of illness or accident and we all need to have provisions for that, just in case.
