How much do they weigh? The reason I asked is because if they are very small perhaps their bladder can't hold much.
I have been told that Yorkies at times can be very difficult to train. Some never do.
Buddy will be 3 in three weeks but he has been trained since he was 5mos.
It was very time consuming and lots of patience was required and consistency is the key. I took a week off from work when I got him at 14wks and had him out every 1 1/2 hrs daily. Whenever he would drink water I would wait for 10 mins and out we would go. He was crated when I was not home and at night. I would come home at lunch time for another 6weeks to get him out and give him a break from the crate. It paid off because he has a bladder made of steel, however, he is 13lbs so I think the size also helps in bladder control. Also I gave him a tiny piece of liverwurst, per trainer, and used that reward for ONLY potty outside. He looked forward to that treat.
When he was trained I no longer gave him the liverwurst.
Good luck.
