I have rasied dozens of puppies and one trick I used with any "too rough" adult to leave a puppy alone, is to spritze them with Bitter Apple...it also works the other way around...spray a bit on the back or ears of your adult...pup will learn real fast to back off and not grab a mouth full of hair..most of my adults get up on the couch and the puppies can not get to them...good luck
PS..most mother Yorkies do not tolerate non-stop pestering from their babies..they growl or smack them on the nose.. |
