I live in the city so we don't get quite the same amount of attention that you might get in an rural area, but I think my vet is the bees knees too. We found him out of desperation when another vet almost killed (very litteraly) our Greyhound. We called the lady that runs our rescue group and she go on the phone to a bunch of people in order to find us the best vet in the area for Greyhounds and we rushed over there (after my husband almost punched the other vet out, just imagine me sick with worry and crying trying to get a dying Greyhound to the car while dragging my very angry husband out after me and telling the vet to just shut up and quit making excuses.) We finally got our baby to the other vets office and he was able to save her and has been the best blasted vet. He always gives us discount on his already low prices. The only thing he doesn't do is after hours stuff and that is only because he gets so wrapped up in his work that he can't tell people no and he ended up making himself sick after going nonstop for several years.
Hooray for good vets! |
