I also stop in the winter months. My dogs are inside and go out to GO only but I know it only takes one mosquito also of course. I know we have mosquitoes normally spring to fall.

I asked the vet if I could break the heartguard into two pieces since they are for dogs up to 25 lbs and she said no.
