I got a heating/cooling pad from Pet Edge - it works great we are travelling somewhere. I also have a heating/cooling pad that we bought at Target (by the back pain/support stuff) - it is filled w/ some sort of sandy/ash stuff and it can be thrown in the ice chest on hot summer days OR heated to retain heat on cold nights.
