I did suction the pups mouth and nose. I also saw it spit up a little bit of milk. Vet seems to think it could just be eating too much? She is nursing very well, resting, not crying, so I don't think there is a real problem. The vet is going to check them out really good Monday when I take them for tails and dew claws. Everyone keep them in your prayers, I just couldn't stand to lose another one. They are so adorable, and Katie is being a very good mommy. She won't hardly leave them at all. I am having to feed her by hand because she won't leave them to eat. I am giving her a vitamin supplement and some cottage cheese once a day. I also gave her a tsp. of beer to help the milk come in good. Anything else I should be doing? |
