yes an ear infection can do this, my annie had to be pts on the 6th of dec due to an ear infection not being found by the vet, it went in to her brain and lungs so was to late to do anything, her first symptom was turning to the side.
i told the vets i thought it was an ear infection but after blood tests, and an xray they found nothing and as her ear didnt have a discharge or smell they thought it was a brain tumor but after nearly 3 months of her getting worse to the point where she couldnt walk the infection burst went in to her brain and flooded her lungs, it was coming out her nose, the vet said there was nothing left to do but pts.
please get them to look at her ears, if no infection get them to do an xray and if you still think she may have an infection and shes not getting better get them to open her ears up.
